Book Harvest works to provide a book-rich home for Triangle children in need. A non-profit, Book Harvest partners with caring citizens and community groups to collect new and gently used children’s books and to get them into the home libraries of low-income children. Giving children access to books helps them start school ready to learn, to prevent summer learning loss once they’re in school, and to self-identify as readers. Book Harvest receives support from the campaign’s Community Care Fund.
