University Development employees came together on Thursday for a day of service and team-building at seven local non-profits: Habitat for Humanity of Durham, SEEDS, the Scrap Exchange, the Food Bank of Durham, Durham County Library, the St. Phillip’s Community Garden and Durham Central Park.

In the spirit of “Doing Good” and sporting bright campaign t-shirts, Development colleagues completed flooring, window framing and duct work at a local Habitat house; hacked their way through poison ivy for a creek make-over at Durham Central Park; and moved an estimated 26,000 pounds of food at the Food Bank.

Congratulations and many thanks to our Development colleagues on a job well done!
