Kaitlyn Granda has worked as a physician assistant in the Walltown Neighborhood Clinic for 12 years, and she has been the lead clinician there since 2005. “I like very much that, over the years, I’ve gotten to know families and seen them through different transitions in their lives.”
Based in Durham’s Walltown neighborhood, the Walltown Neighborhood Clinic offers quality health care for all, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. The clinic offers regular check-ups, preventative care, and treatment for chronic illnesses for all members of the family.
Like Granda, the other staff at Walltown have worked in the clinic for many years. The consistency of the Walltown staff is a big draw for community members. “We are familiar faces and a trusted place in this community,” she says.

The Walltown Neighborhood Clinic is a partnership between Lincoln Community Health and Duke Community Health. It is one of three such community-based clinic partnerships in Durham, and it is just one of the Health organizations supported by Duke employees through Duke’s Doing Good in the Neighborhood.
