Our mission: Duke University and Duke University Health System employees support the communities in which they work and live through volunteerism and philanthropy.
The year-round Duke Doing Good employee giving campaign invites Duke staff and faculty to make a monetary gift that benefits local schools, nonprofits and neighborhoods.
The Duke Doing Good campaign emphasizes donor choice, so you decide how your gift improves quality of life in the Triangle. You can give to any combination of the following categories:
- Community Care Fund
- Emergency Relief Fund
- Youth Empowerment
- United Way of the Greater Triangle
It’s easy to give. Employees can make a monetary gift through payroll deduction, credit card or check.
In response to Hurricanes Florence and Matthew that have impacted our state, Duke employees can donate to the DGIN Emergency Response Fund. One-time and recurring credit card and electronic checks are accepted.
Throughout the year, stories about Duke Doing Good’s impact can be found in the News section of this site. Employees are also invited to share how they are “Doing Good” in the community by using the hashtag #DukeDoingGood on social media.
