About: Piedmont Conservation Council, Inc. (PCC) is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that is community-based and regionally focused. PCC addresses natural resource conservation and development issues in its service area, which includes Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Guilford, Orange, Person, Randolph, Rockingham and Wake Counties of North Carolina. Their mission is to leverage people and resources for innovative projects that promote conservation and sustainable communities.
2018-19 DGIN Funding will expand Piedmont Conservation Council’s environmental educational programming to families in western Wake County, both on-site and through outreach programming collaborating with the Town of Cary’s Project PHOENIX program, which works in low-income multifamily housing communities.
